PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain the read-out of contents data in a short time recorded on an information recording medium for storing converted into the file system. SOLUTION: The device is provided with a temporary recording part 13 for recording the contents data as the files on the information recording medium for the temporary recording, a recording/reproducing part 12 for recording the files which are recorded on the temporary recording information medium, on the information recording medium for storing, and a control part 5. In this control part 5, the temporary recording part 13 is controlled so as to detect the data amount of the files recorded on the information recording medium for the temporary recording and the kind of the contents data by a file unit, and when the total data amount of the files having the same kind of contents data among the files recorded on the information recording medium for the temporary recording is attained to the predetermined data amount, the temporary recording part 13 and the recording/reproducing part 12 are controlled so that the files having the same kind of contents data are recorded on one information recording medium for storing.
