PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute desired processing by displaying the result of reading a character string from a picture and analyzing it so as to analyze the character string by only simple operation by a user. SOLUTION: In a character string analyzing cooperative system 100, when a character string is designated by fitting a cursor by a character string fetching part 101, this is fetched as a character string D1 and sent to a character string analyzing part 102. The part 102 discriminates a kind of information expressed by the supplied string D1, generates a kind ID corresponding to the kind, then fetches character string data D2 being the very information expressed by the string D1 and sends the kind ID and character string data D2 to an analyzing result display part 103. The part 103 generates a prescribed analyzing result picture including the kind of information and the data D2 based on the kind ID and data D2 supplied from the part 102 and displays it on a liquid crystal display so as to allow a user to recognize the kind of the information expressed by the string D1.
