PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable even a visually handicapped person to judge the front or back of a disk type medium with the sense of touch by utilizing the central hole of the medium and building up the shape of one side of the hole. SOLUTION: The bank 3 of the central hole 2 existing in each disk is made by building up the surface 1 of the disk of the central hole 2. In this case, the shape of the bank 3 of the central hole is formed into such a dimension that the driving of each medium is not influenced by the height and width or the like of the bank 3 of the central hole. In such a disk type medium such as a CD and a DVD for a visually handicapped person, even if either the recorded surface or the printed surface is difficult to visually judged, the front or back of the medium is easily recognized by touching the bank 3 of the central hole 2. Also, in even the DVD or the like having the recorded surface on the both surfaces, the front or back is easily recognized.
