The electronic ballast is used in the residential and industrial general lighting for easying the mode of operation in using disposable gaseous discharge lamps. The use of a resistor to the lamp electrode and the resistor connected in parallel at the output filter in the circuit of the supply input of the inegrated circuit ensures the discontinuation of the generations of the circuit when the lamp electrode is cut off from the circuit as a result of which the mode of operation of the transistors is eased and any electromagnetic interferences are prevented. The electronic ballast consists of an input filter connected to the rectifier group the output of which is coupled to a semi-bridge-type inverter controlled by an integrated circuit. The positive potential of the rectifier group (B) is connected across resistor (R4) and a lamp electrode (FL1) connected in series to the midpoint of the semi-bridge inverter to which the filter is coupled. The filter is made of the connected in parallel capacitor (C5) and resistor (R2), the latter two being connected in series to resistor (R3) which is coupled to the anode of diode (D1) the cathod of which is connected to the suupply input (Vs) of the integrated circuit (C). The anode of diode (D1) is also coupled to the cathode of the Zener diode (D2) the anode of which is connected to the negative potential of the rectifier group (B). 1 claim, 2 figures
