PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a release film for a sanitary article having excellent flexibility and excellent heat resistance not generating thermal deformation which damages appearance even when a hot-melt adhesive is applied in a high temp. state. SOLUTION: A release film for a sanitary article is constituted by laminating a release agent layer on the single surface of a substrate film wherein ethylenic resin layers are laminated on both surfaces of a propylene resin layer and characterized by that the propylene resin layer comprises 20-90 wt.% of a propylene homopolymer and 10-80 wt.% of a propyelne copolymer and the resin elution amt. of the propylene copolymer by a cross fractionation method is 45-80 wt.% at 0-10 deg.C, 5-35 wt.% at a temp. of above 10-70 deg.C, 1-30 wt.% at a temp. of above 70-95 deg.C and 5-35 wt.% at temp. of above 95-125 deg.C and a wt. average mol.wt. is 80,000-500,000.
