PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combine harvester capable of being miniaturized owing to simplifying grain culm conveyance structure and mechanical power reduction, by forming the feed port of a threshing unit through which reaped grain culms are fed into the threshing unit at a specific height to obviate an unfavorableness of threshing unreaped grain culm ear tips. SOLUTION: This combine harvester with a reaping unit mounted in front of a threshing unit 3 is so designed as to form the feed port 24 of the threshing unit 3 through which reaped grain culms are fed into the threshing unit 3 at a height nearly equal to the ear tip height of standing grain culms; wherein it is preferable that the threshing cylinder 4 of the threshing unit 3 is mounted in an upwardly threshing fashion and a delivery conveyance chain 43 for diverting the direction of conveying grain culms is furnished between the feed port 24 and a plant foot conveyance chain 12 for conveying reaped grain culms from the reaping unit.
