PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily increase the number of interrupt channels even in an interrupt controller where restrictions are put on the increase of the number of channels. SOLUTION: Interrupt request signals IRQ2 and IRQ3 are inputted to a first interrupt controller 102 from second and third interrupt controllers 103 and 104 respectively, and an interrupt request channel signal IRQ is individually inputted to the second and third interrupt controllers 103 and 104; and when the interrupt request channel signal is inputted to the second interrupt controller 103 or the third interrupt controller 104, the interrupt controller exchanges interrupt messages with a central processing unit 101 through a data bus 108 under the control of an interrupt service program corresponding to the interrupt request channel signal to the first interrupt controller 102.
