PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a radio information terminal which can operate one of a telephone part and a personal computer part by operating a keyboard part even if the other is not in operation by using the single keyboard part for the telephone part and personal computer and operating both of them by the single keyboard part according to operation mode switching. SOLUTION: In an operation mode wherein the telephone part 1 and personal computer part 2 are both used, a control part 26 performs control so that the key scanning operation of the key controller 15 of the telephone part 1 is stopped through a control part 17. The keyboard part 3 is connected to both key controllers 15 and 24 and can transmit key input to both the key controllers 15 and 24. Consequently, the telephone part 1 can be operated even in operation mode wherein the personal computer part 2 is not used and the personal computer part 2 need not be operated to operate the telephone part 1, thereby improving the operability. Further, even when the personal computer part 2 is turned off, the telephone part 1 can be placed in a standby state, so the operation time can be prolonged because of power saving. |
