PURPOSE: An automatic switch of video graphic adapter mode of a television set and a method thereof are provided to acknowledge whether a VGA signal is input or not by using a stable logic signal converted from a horizontal synchronous signal of a personal computer without changing a frequency. CONSTITUTION: An automatic switch of video graphic adapter mode of a television set includes an image switch, a chroma processor(50), an image amplifier(60), a signal converter(70), and a micro computer(30). The image switch receives an outer image signal output from an outer image signal output member or a television signal receives through an antenna and switches between the signal under the control of the micro computer. The chroma processor(50) receives the image signal output from the image switch and a VGA signal output from a VGA signal output member and converts the signals to color signals. The image amplifier(60) amplifies the signal output from the chroma processor to a predetermined level and outputs the result to a brown tube. The signal converter(70) converts the horizontal synchronous signal to a logic signal and outputs the result to the micro computer. |
