PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a road information service system which can reduce an update time of a broadcasting sentence and normally quickly provide latest traffic information by reducing a waiting time until a next event is processed in an economically advantageous structure in a highway radio system, a highway telephone system or the like. SOLUTION: When a road information providing central facility (HWR-CSY) 20 receives event data from a traffic central facility (TRF-CSY) by a minute cycle, it judges whether or not broadcasting sentence preparation/transmission processing of the event data which are received previously is completed. When it is not completed, the event data received this time are abandoned and, when it is completed, the event data received this time are received, a tuning bar information file (F-FIL) 21 is referred to and the broadcasting sentence preparation/transmission processing is performed.
