PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation system for rapidly searching for a path to a specific point and for reaching a destination that has been searched for constantly based on the most recent information. SOLUTION: A navigation system 1 is provided with printed matter 11, an input device 12 for inputting intrinsic information being listed in it, a communication device for accessing the homepage of the Internet from inputted intrinsic information and reading service information, a display 22 for displaying map information and service information, and a guiding device for guiding to a location for supplying service information displayed on the display. This navigation system can obtain the most recent information and detained information from the homepage of the Internet by inputting intrinsic information displayed on printed matter, and further can accurately guide to a target position by utilizing a GPS system.
