The invention relates to a storage facility for making available different types of articles, consisting of storage areas (2) designed to receive one type of article each, article quantity detection devices (6) assigned to the storage areas (2) and an evaluation stage (12) which via a transmission line (11) which transmits the measurement results of the quantity detection devices (6) is connected to the storage areas (2) and evaluates the measurement results relating to stored data of each type of article. The invention aims to create advantageous conditions for the construction of the above type of storage facility.
