A bank bill examining system comprises a check-drawer communication device, check-taker communication device, bank communication device, customer database, bank bill cryptograph base, quota examining base, customer status authentication device, bank bill cryptograph verification device, and comparing device. When the bank bill is used, the check-drawer provides the bank bill with the bank bill data and the bank bill cryptograph to the check-taker. The check-taker sends the bank bill data and the bank bill cryptograph to the bank. The bank communication device sends back the examining results of the bank bill to the check-taker. The examining results can be, for example, whether the bank bill cryptograph is correct, the examining quota of the bank bill, whether the useable funds under the account number of the check-drawer is not less than the examining quota.
