<p>The invention concerns a method using pyrometallurgy for treating waste containing metals generally in oxidised form, in a first zone including vertically spaced hearths, of a multistage furnace, which consists in: introducing the waste containing metals generally in oxidised form on the top hearth of the first zone and gradually transferring it towards the lower hearths; creating in the first zone conditions favourable for volatilising the metals in oxidised form; extracting from the first zone the gases containing the volatilised metals in oxidised form.</p> |
