<p>Method and device for positioning products (a-k) in a stationary operating position. By means of a delivery conveyer (15) the products are supplied to an endless pick-up conveyer (10) which has compartments (13) for the products uniformly distributed in the longitudinal direction of the pick-up conveyer. The products (a-k) are advanced stepwise on the pick-up conveyer (10) with the step length corresponding to the centre distance between the compartments (13). The delivery conveyer (15) connects to the pick-up conveyer (10) in the transverse direction thereof and supplies the products (a-k) to the compartments (13). The end of the delivery conveyer (15) connecting to the pick-up conveyer (10) is displaced temporarily stepwise along the pick-up conveyer (10) in a direction opposite to the moving direction thereof, while the pick-up conveyer (10) is stationary in the operating position. <IMAGE></p> |
