HEAT INSULATING STRUCTURE OF ELECTRIC RICE COOKER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid the scatter of glass fiber by the wind of a cooling fan with the minimum complication of structure and minimum cost increase in an IH rice cooker provided with an electromagnetic induction coil and glass wool of a heat insulation part. SOLUTION: This rice cooker is provided with a main body device 1 for housing an inner pot 2, an electromagnetic induction coil 3 and a fan 8 for cooling the heat generating element of a controller. Rice is cooked and temperature is held by energizing the coil 3. An inner container 5 for forming an inner pot housing space 13 of the device 1 is provided to place a heat insulation part A on the outside of the container 5 of a part corresponding to the body part of the pot 2. The part A is constituted by winding glass wool 20 whose surface is covered with a film sheet 20a on the outer periphery of the container 5 to provide surrounding plate ribs 21 and 22 for shielding the upper and the lower ends of the glass wool.
