PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To collect and correct the error between the meter-reading value of the amount of usage of power and meter-reading accumulation data being controlled by a central monitoring device by one worker. SOLUTION: In the amount-of-usage-measuring device, a worker connects a personal computer 13 to a central monitoring device 7, and collects meter- reading accumulation data being stored by a storage 9 every minute by the personal computer 13 for recording corresponding to the hour, minute, and second of collection year, month, and date. Then, the worker carries a personal computer 15, reads the meter-reading value of each meter 2 for inputting into the personal computer 15, and performs recording corresponding to the hour, minute, and second of the collection year, month, and date. The meter-reading value where the hour and minute of the collection year, month, and date of each meter 2 are equal to those of an input year, month, and date is compared with the meter-reading accumulation data, thus automatically calculating a correction value, and hence correcting the meter-reading data.
