PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a whole program for motion control, to improve visibility and to synthetically speed up cycle time in a method for excluding and simplifying the sub-program call circuit of a main program and a signal transfer circuit with a motion program and executing a sub-program only with the motion program when a sequence program is executed from the motion program. SOLUTION: In the programming method of a motion controller for independently describing the motion program of a motion controller controlling an industrial machine and a sequence program by using a programming device and loading them on the motion controller and executing them, a function instruction 3 executing the sequence sub-program 4 described b a sequence control language from the motion program 2 is included and the sequence sub- program 4 is directly executed by the function instruction 3.
