PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a conductor coil, which prevents insulation papers from being broken and can ensure insulation by using a plurality of rectangular insulation papers wound together with a conductor and providing one or more lap allowances to absorb expansion of the conductor in a drying process. SOLUTION: A conductor coil 1 has a conductor and insulation papers, wound together to form an elongated circular shape having straight parts 12 and curved parts 13. The insulation paper has lap allowances 11 at the straight parts 12, and the insulation paper has lap allowances 11 at boundaries 14 between the straight parts and curved parts. The insulation paper, wound together with the conductor, is rectangular in shape and has at least one lap allowance per winding to absorb the expansion of the conductor at this pair in a drying process, thereby preventing the insulation paper from being broken.
