<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radar device capable of preventing adverse effect on target detection by strong clutter in the vicinity of a target by switching from HPRF processing to primary echo processing when clutter in the vicinity of the target is strong by utilizing position information of the clutter. SOLUTION: This radar device is provided with a system test signal detection level judging device 14 judging a level of a system test signal based on outputs of an HPRF processing device 9 or a primary echo processing device 10, a target detection rate judging and processing device 15 judging a target detection rate based on the detected level from the judging device 14, and a system test signal infuser 13 infusing the system test signal into a receive signal based on signals from the judging device 14. A mode switching device 16 is constituted in such a way that mode for HPRF processing and mode for primary echo processing are switched based on feedback signals from the judging device 14 and the target detection rate judging and processing device 15.</p> |
