PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make storable a reagent for a long time without reducing its performance by forming the inner surface of a container for storing the reagent out of at least one type being selected from among polyvinyl chloride, polycarbonate, polypropylene, and glass. SOLUTION: When a reagent is to be stored for a long time and a part among the internal surfaces in the container, where the reagent touches, is made of polyethylene or the like, a lipid constituent is gradually eliminated from a carrier and is adsorbed by the container and the performance of the reagent decreases. Therefore, the part of the surface in the container where the reagent touches is formed by at least one type being selected from polyvinyl chloride, polycarbonate, polypropylene, and glass. As a result, even if the reagent is stored for a long time, the amount of change in the absorbance of the specimen does not change and the performance of the reagent can be maintained.
