PURPOSE: A detailed billing process method of an exchange system is provided to minimize a change of a program source for generating billing data in case that the billing data are different, and to apply a new billing data format when a billing change request exists. Also, it is possible to prevent a double checking when checking an error of billing information. CONSTITUTION: If a call is completed, a billing processing processor receives billing information from a call processing processor. The billing processing processor records the billing information on a corresponding information region of common data which includes billing information regions shared with every service and specific billing information regions of each service. The billing processing processor performs an error checking operation on the basis of the common data recording the received billing information.
