RAW WATER TREATMENT EQUIPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a raw water treatment equipment for pretreating raw water of general rivers even if the turbidity thereof becomes ultra-high temporarily to suppress the turbidity thereof to a definite value or less and utilizing a moving bed type sand filter equipment to supply industrial water or water of a small water-supply system reduced to several degrees or less in turbidity. SOLUTION: The raw water treatment equipment is constituted so that a primary flocculant injection means 4 is connected to the feed line 2 for feeding raw water W which is supplied from an intake means 1a and raw water in which a primary flocculant is injected is subjected to sedimentation treatment in a sand sedimentation basin 3 to be reduced to 100-150 deg. in turbidity and this secondary raw water is fed through a feed line 5 to which a secondary flocculant injection means 7 is connected to receive the injection of a secondary flocculant to be treated in a moving bed sand filter apparatus 6 and a treated water with turbidity of several degrees or less is obtained.
