PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for producing a molded item of resin wherein when a hard-to-mold material containing high pressure gas is fed into a resin path in a cylinder of a molding machine, clogging of the material can be avoided so that the material can be smoothly fed, allowing it to be easily molded. SOLUTION: A molding machine 1 comprises a cylinder 2, a first screw 3 provided in the cylinder 2, and a hopper 9 provided on one side end of the Cylinder 2. A resin can be fed into a resin path 4 provided between the cylinder 2 and the screw 3 from the hopper 9, and the hopper 9 has a pressure resistant construction and a high pressure gas feed device is connected to the hopper 9 to feed high pressure gas to the hopper 9, while a seal mechanism 13 is provided to prevent a leak of high pressure gas fed to the hopper 9. A feed mechanism 11 is provided between the hopper 9 and the path 4 to forcibly feed a resin into the path 4, while the pressure of gas fed into the hopper 9 is being retained.
