PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet feeding roller used for a printer or the like, offering the extremely low friction coefficient of, in particular, a driven roller to sheets and the increased durability of the driven roller. SOLUTION: A driven roller 12 is formed of plastic material of low friction coefficient to sheets S in one unit of a driving roller 11 with ceramic powder 11S deposited on a metal roller mainbody. The friction coefficient of the driven roller 12 to the sheets S is set to be 0.5 or less and the plastic material of the driven roller 12 is selected out of polyacetal, polypropylene, polystylene, polycarbonate, ABS resin and the like.
