The invention relates to a planetary speed reducer with cylindrical satellites, high transmission ratio, one-step, high loading capacity, designed for reducing the speed of machines and equipments and meant for manufacturing a planetary reducing gear which is simplified and improved kinematically, dynamically and technologically, with efficient operating parameters, by the optimization of the engaged part profiles. According to the invention, the reducer comprises cylindrical satellites (5) located radially and equally spaced on the circumference of a cylindrical-circular-shaped cam (2) which is eccentrical to the drive shaft (1) it is integral with; the cylindrical satellites (5) are in fact the parts engaging an improved -profile conjugated inside gearing, so that rotating the cam (2) will cause the satellites to rotate reversely around the cam at a reduced speed with respect to the drive shaft, and will transmit the movement to the driven shaft through a homokinetic coupling.
