<p>A process for control of an automated gearbox upon kickdown, characterized: in that possible gear combinations for changedown are determined; that the acceleration (a) in the prevailing conditions is calculated for each combination, as also the relating acceleration times; that the acceleration times for the possible and permissible gear combinations are compared and that a signal is emitted to the gearbox for changing to the combination which results in the shortest acceleration time. The invention also relates to an arrangement for control of a gearbox upon kickdown.</p> |
