METHOD FOR SETTING UP COLOR PALETTE AND DISPLAY DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of taking consistency between frames by adding an individual CLUT to each frame or succeeding a CLUT described in a master file by a slave file when a display device supporting no full color state executes operation permitting a frame function in the description of tagged language. SOLUTION: The color palette display device 1 is constituted of a file input part 2 for inputting plural files described by the tagged language, a file analysis part 3 for analyzing each input file, a CLUT application judging part 4 for judging whether a defaulted CLUT stored in a master file is to be succeeded and used or an original CLUT individually stored in each frame is to be used, a CLUT area specification part 5 for specifying a CLUT area, and a structured document display part 6 for displaying a file described by the tagged language.
