PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a band fastener very excellent in workability, regarding the band fastener to be used for pressing a sheet material covering a vinyl plastic hothouse and a bed of a truck, for instance. SOLUTION: This fastener is constituted of a fastener main body 1 in which frame parts 3, 3 are integrally formed on both sides of a band winding part 2, a band inserting and passing part 4 formed into an open shape on one end side is disposed between the frame parts 3, 3 and a groove part is carved on an outer wall of the frame part 3 along the vertical direction from a center position of the band winding part 2 and a gate-shaped stopper part 7 in which the inner width is made the same width as an outer width between the frame parts 3, 3 and each projection part 8 insertable within the groove part and movable in the vertical direction is projectingly provided on each tip inside surface of both the frame bodies 3, 3. As a result, the fastener main body 1 can be freely rotated in a state that each projection part 8 of the stopper part 7 is inserted within the groove part of the fastener main body 1 and is located at the center.
