PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dynamically limit the number of selection items in other categories each time an item in a category is selected and to reduce input labor by preliminarily relating the categories to one another with respect to a database in which a certain example is divided in plural categories. SOLUTION: This device consists of an example database 1 provided with an example table 2 showing the characteristics of examples, plural division tables 3 to 5 including items showing plural categories and a relation table 7 showing mutual relation among plural divisions, a division display updating means 9 which adds, changes and eliminates contents of the tables 3 to 5 and 6 and an example updating means 8 which adds, changes and eliminates contents of the table 2. Further, a terminal 7 controls the division system with a program, and an input-output device 10 inputs and outputs information related to division.
