PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display plural pictures, which are time-sequentially obtained for a same subject to be photographed, in a picture displaying device and to make changes in these pictures to be more easily comprehensible. SOLUTION: The device is provided with a picture data storage means 10, which stores picture data S1,... indicating pictures P1,... that show the distribution of chemical light emission of sixteen photographs taken in a time-sequential manner, a summary displaying means 20, which reads the data S1 and others from the means 10, reduces the pictures P1, etc., that indicate picture data S1, etc., into a display region A of a picture displaying section 50 and displays them in a summarized manner, and an animation displaying means 30 which reads the picture data relative to more than two pictures selected from the pictures displayed in the region A in a summarized manner from the means 10 and displays the data in a display region B of the section 50 while time- sequentially switching the data in a short time as animation pictures.
