<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniquely configure programs in each area receiving digital programs even when they are supplied to a different area altogether by collating a preset area code with program data not served yet to exclude a video signal of corresponding digital program. SOLUTION: A digital head end 10 transmits NIT data to each terminal of analog head ends 1A, 1B, 1C of areas A, B, C. The NIT data include a list where digital channels(ch) not served yet for each area are indicated. Each terminal of the areas A, B, C collates the list of unserved data ch with a preset area code and a video image of a digital program of unserved digital ch is not displayed on a monitor by not applying demultiplexing to the video signal with a corresponding digital ch display number among video signals of digital programs sent from the digital head end 10.</p> |
