PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily support a piping rack at a desired height. SOLUTION: A piping rack support base for supporting a piping rack comprises a pair of opposed main beams A and an auxiliary beam provided therebetween. In the piping rack support base, having a pair of substantially cylindrical support legs 2 having opening parts along the axial direction and a mount base 1 provided between the support legs 2, while the support legs 2 are disposed so that the opening parts are directed in the direction other than the opposed directions, the mount base 1 is provided with a fastening means 3 for holding and fixing the mount base 1, by both the ends of the opening parts in the transverse direction thereof.
