摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ink which shows excellent discharge stability, excellent penetration, rapid dry speed, little stain and strike through by making the ink contain an acetylene glycol-based compound having a specific structure, an alkylene oxide polymer, a coloring agent and water. SOLUTION: An aqueous ink of the present invention contains 0.01 to 10% by weight of an acetylene glycol-based compound (A) represented by formula II such as a compound represented by formula I or the like, 0.01 to 5% by weight of an alkylene oxide polymer (B) represented by formula III, 1 to 10% by weight of an aqueous dye (C) as a coloring agent and an aqueous medium wherein each component satisfies A/B=0.01-10/0.01-5, A/C=0.01-10/0.1-10, A/ water=0.1-10/25-94.88, each ratio being a weight ratio. The aqueous ink preferably has static surface tension at 20 deg.C of 20 to 50 dyne/cm, a specific viscosity of 1 to 4 cP, pH of 6.5 to 10 (wherein R is H, 1-10C alkyl and 1-10C alkoxyl; R1 and R3 are each 4-17C alkyl; R2 and R4 are 1-10C alkyl; and m, n, m1 and n1 are each 0 or a positive integer.
