THE ELECTRODE FOR ELECTRON TUBE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A cathode for electron tube and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to lengthen a life time of an electron tube by improving a structure of the electron tube. CONSTITUTION: A cathode for electron tube is formed with a sleeve(1), a cup(2), a heater(4), a pellet(7), and an electron emission material layer(3). The cup(2) is formed on an upper portion of the sleeve(1). The pellet(7) and the electron emission material layer(3) are formed on an upper portion of the cup(2). The heater(4) is mounted in the sleeve(2) in order to heat a cathode. The pellet(7) is formed with a compound of a metal and a barium. The electron emission material layer(3) includes a barium compound as a main component.
