<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size and the weight of a valve gear, where two sets of at least one of an intake valve and an exhaust valve are disposed, form the valve system in a compact manner, improve durability, and prevent the generation of noise. SOLUTION: This valve gear comprises a first locker arm 3 for performing oscillation operation to open and close one of two intake valves 1 and 2, namely, a first intake valve (a first valve) 1, a second locker arm 4 being the other, namely, performing oscillation operation to cause opening and closing operation of the second intake valve (a second valve) 2, a connecting rod 9 situated bridging between the first locker arm 3 and the second locker arm 4 and provided at one end part with a first spherical part 6 oscillatingly supported at a spherical seat 5 formed at the first locker arm 3 and at the other end with a second spherical part 8 oscillatingly supported at a spherical part 7 formed at the second locker arm 4, and a drive means for oscillating and driving the first locker arm 3 to perform opening closing operation of the first intake valve 1.</p> |
