PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a re-releasable pressure-sensitive adhesive composition, which is not lowered in performance over a long period of time and exhibits good adhesiveness, re-releasability and re-attaching property, by comprising self-adhesive, fine spherical particles having a specific range of storage elastic modulus, and an acrylic aqueous emulsion. SOLUTION: The re-releasable pressure-sensitive adhesive composition comprises self-adhesive, fine spherical particles (A) having a storage elastic modulus of 250,000 to 400,000 at 40 deg.C and an acrylic aqueous emulsion (B) with a ratio by weight of solid matters therebetween being such that A/B=100/0 to 60/40. The component A is made of an acrylic copolymer whose composition comprises, on the weight basis, 60 to 100% of a monomer of the formula: CH2 CHOOR1, wherein R1 represents a 1-4C alkyl group, 0 to 10% of an unsaturated monomer having a carboxyl group, and 0 to 40% of an unsaturated monomer. The component B is made of an acrylic copolymer of 50 to 100% of a monomer of the formula: CH2=CR2COOR3, wherein R2 represents H or CH3; and R3 represents a 1-12C alkyl group, 0 to 10% of an unsaturated monomer having a carboxyl group, and 0 to 50% of an unsaturated monomer and serves as a binder for physically bonding the component A to a substrate.
