摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an endless belt photoreceptor which does not cause faulty carrying or image defect by providing a joint part having a specified joint part angle and providing specified deflection at the longest part of a distance between rollers for laying. SOLUTION: When the joint of the endless belt passes a roller abutting part with the rotation of the endless belt at the time of forming an image, the joint part is made so as not to contact therewith over the entire length at a time, so that the carrying stability of the endless belt is improved. Therefore, by designing so that the joint angle may be >=1.0 deg. and further the deflection of the belt may be <=3 mm, the carrying stability of the endless belt photoreceptor is achieved. The size of the deflection at the end of the endless belt photoreceptor is adjusted to <=3 mm by somewhat deviating the peripheral length of the center part and the peripheral length of the end of the endless belt photoreceptor and making the peripheral length of the end shorter than that of the center part. In a cartridge where the endless belt photoreceptor is stretched and laid, three rollers abut on the back surface of the belt photoreceptor and one roller abuts on the front surface thereof, and (c-d) is the longest length between the rollers.
