PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect the leg piece part of a driven gear from damage, this part being useful for improving workability when the driven gear is attached to the support shaft of a support frame, and to eliminate the need for using a receiving base when the support frame is conveyed on a production line in a disk device. SOLUTION: A supporting frame 30 includes a disk driving motor M1, a movable frame 41 holding a pickup, a movable frame driving motor and a follower gear 10, to which the rotation of the rotary shaft of the movable frame driving motor is transmitted, these components being attached to the frame. The driven gear 10 is provided with leg piece parts 14 and 14 useful for improving attaching workability. The driven gear 10 is provided with a high cylindrical protective rib 16 which is arranged to surround the leg piece parts 14 and 14. The supporting frame 30 is provided with supporting parts 81 and 82 at the same level as the lower end of the protective rib 16 of the driven gear 10.
