An assembly type box body which forms a box body by assembling three or more sheets of side plate panels (1) forming the side walls of the box body, a bottom part (5), and a cover part (10) with each other so as to facilitate the assembly folding operation of the box body, wherein each of the side plate panels (1) is provided with a column (2) formed of an angle on one end edge side, and provided with an engaged column (3) in the form of having at least two faces capable of being engaged with the inner side surface of the column on the other end edge side, the column (2) and engaged column (3) of each side plate panel (1) are engaged with each other so as to form the side wall; the bottom part (5) and the cover part (10) are provided with a fitted part (6) to which the column (2) in the engaged state and the engaged column (3) are fitted, and the column (2) and the engaged column (3) are disposed at right angles to the bottom part (5) and the cover part (10), whereby, at the time of disassembly, each side plate panel (1) dismounted from the bottom part (5) and the cover part (10) can be disposed overlappingly between the bottom part (5) and the cover part (10).
