PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an eave soffit parting member which enhances the production efficiency and gives an easier inspection for damper operation even when a fire prevention damper is installed. SOLUTION: A number of vent holes 11 are provided in a surface portion 10 facing a space at the outdoor side of a parting edge holder 6B installed along the end edge of a ceiling surface member of eaves ceiling in addition to an opening-closing vane 12 for closing these vent holes 11, an urging means 13 for urging the opening-closing vane 12 toward the surface portion 10, and a temperature fuse 14 holding the opening-closing vane 12 to an open state. In this way, the parting edge holder 6B can have the same shape as that of an ordinary eave soffit parting member having a cross section shape open to the outside, and thus its production efficiency can be improved and the function can be reset by replacing the temperature fuse which has just operated thereby realizing an easier inspection. |
