PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject adhesive capable of carrying out a connection especially at a low temperature in a short time in an electric connection between mutual fine circuits having excellent adhesiveness, reliability of connection, or the like, by making the adhesive include a specific (meth)allylphenol resin in a radically polymerizable resin. SOLUTION: This anisotropic electroconductive adhesive is obtained by dispersing electroconductive powder into a resin composition composed of a radically polymerizable resin, an organic peroxide a thermoplastic elastomer and a maleimide. The radically polymerizable resin contains a (meth)allylphenol resin of a structure of the formula (R1 is H or CH3; R2 is a monofunctional organic group), preferably 2,2-bis(3-allyl-4-hydroxyphenyl)propane. The ratio of the (meth)allylphenol resin in the radically polymerizable resin is preferably 5-50 wt.%.
