PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition capable of rapidly disintegrating in an oral cavity and having a practically sufficient strength in production and distribution processes by including mannitol, a disintegrating agent, celluloses, a lubricant, etc. SOLUTION: This composition is obtained by including (A) mannitol, (B) a disintegrating agent, e.g. crospovidone or croscarmellose sodium, (C) celluloses (e.g. a powdery cellulose or a crystalline cellulose), (D) a lubricant (e.g. magnesium stearate, a sugar ester or talc) and (E) (i) starches (e.g. a partially pregelatinized starch or corn starch) and/or (ii) lactose. In the above composition, when the ingredient (i) is used, the mass ratio of the ingredient A to the ingredient (i) is preferably (10:1) to (1:1). When the ingredient (ii) is used, the mass ratio of the ingredient A to the ingredient (ii) is preferably (10:1) to (1:10). Furthermore, an active ingredient such as a restoring agent for gastric mucous membranes or a gastric acid secretion inhibitor can preferably be contained in an amount of 0.001-70 mass %.
