PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure enabling a hard wall material to be easily installed on and removed from a wall bed without being placed directly into position by means of fasteners such as nails. SOLUTION: This mounting structure for a hard wall material B comprises a long hard wall material B having a groove in its upper end and having at its lower end an inwardly projecting tongue with a locking groove formed therein, and long fixtures A each having a fixed part comprising a vertical, planar installation piece, a female connection formed by bending the upper end of the fixed part, and a male connection formed by bending the lower end of the fixed part. The plurality of fixtures A are transversely connected together and secured to a wall bedαwith fastenersβ, and the groove in the hard wall material B is fitted over the back of a pressing piece. Thereafter, the hard wall material B is hung downward to bring the lockign groove in the hard wall material B into engagement with the engagement piece of the fixture A so as to secure the hard wall material B in place.
