PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To observe the whole part to be observed by providing an observation auxiliary tool for endoscope with a reflection mirror for reflecting an observation image toward an observation window disposed at the tip part of an endoscope inserting part. SOLUTION: First of all, the insertion part of an endoscope is inserted to the body cavity of an examinee and the tip hard part 24 of the insertion part is made to approach a torous polyp desired to observe to project the polyp 46 on a monitor. Then, an observation auxiliary tool 10 is inserted to the forceps channel 34 of the endoscope while elastically deforming a leaf spring 54. Next, after confirming the reflection mirror 52 of the tool 10 on the monitor, the insertion part of the endoscope and the tool 10 are operated to arrange the tool 10 to the side surface of the polyp 46. At the time of using the tool 10, it is possible to simultaneously observe the upper surface image and the side surface image of the torous polyp 46. At the time of making one revolution of the polyp 46 with the part 24 in a center in this state, the whole of the polyp 46 can be observed.
