PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biaxial actuator for reducing the influence of a secondary resonance frequency by controlling a resonance mode regarding the tracking direction of the movable part of the biaxial actuator. SOLUTION: The biaxial actuator is provided with control slits 31b and 31b for resonance control being extended in a direction that orthogonally crosses a tracking direction and a focusing direction on both the sides of an objective lens. Then, with the control slits, a displacement part M due to resonance is located near the center of the slit 31b regarding secondary resonance in the tracking direction of each lens holder 31, and a still part S of resonance is located near both the ends of the slit 31b.
