Proposed method of production of activated carbon involves impregnation of resin binding agent with phosphoric acid taken in the amount 2.2-6.0 wt.-% at 69-95 C followed by mixing with coal dust, mixture granulation and the following their activation. Method ensures to increase the strength of obtained carbon up to 97% and adsorption capacity (by gold cyanides) and therefore it can be used in yield of gold, silver and platinum from solutions and pulps.
