The laminated plate or body has an underlay and a patterned covering layer. the underlay contains a filling material of natural fibres and a bonder of thermoplastics which can be recycled. The core is of natural fibres. The natural fibres are of straw, cotton, flax, sisal, jute, hemp or combinations of fibres, and they can also contain glass fibres or polyester fibres. The pref. bonding agent is of polypropylene or polypropylene fibres. A synthetic foam can be used as an intermediate layer.
