PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To monitor a normality or an abnormality in an oxygen supply amount by arranging a flow rate detecting means for detecting the flow rate of humidified oxygen from at the down stream side of a humidifier in a device where oxygen from an oxygen supply source is set to a prescribed flow rate by means of flow rate setting equipment and humidified oxygen obtained by way of the humidifier is supplied. SOLUTION: The oxygen inspiring device A for medical use is provided with the oxygen supply source 1, a pressure adjusting means 2, the humidifier 3 and an oxygen inspiring means 4 such as an oxygen supply tube which is disposed at a part being adjacent to the side of a patient p. In this case, flow rate setting equipment 5 is arranged between the means 2 and the humidifier 3. Besides, the flow rate detecting means 6 is disposed between the humidifier 3 and the oxygen inspiring means 4. During the usage of the device 1, the setting flow rate value (a) of the equipment 5 is compared with an actual measurement flow rate value (b) actually measured by the means 6 by an arithmetic processing part X1 and a flow rate abnormality is detected. That is, the part X1, transmits an abnormality flow rate signal to an alarm function part Y1 in the case of the flow rate abnormality (a≠b), displays alarm and operates alarm.
