PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system capable of publicating contents such as a photograph and a document on the Internet in a more simpler way. SOLUTION: A simple HP(home page) preparation service system 30 which converts an electronic mail text into an HTML file and can provide a link to the HTML file on an index page for publication is provided. When an electronic mail is first received by an HP preparation agent 31, a document manager 33 coverts the text into an image file, prepares an HTML file into which a link to the image file embedded and they are further stored in a disk 11 for open to the public. Further, the manager 33 is provided with a link to the HTML file prepared by a user index file for open to the public. Thus, a user can publicate the contents on the Internet simply by transmitting an electronic mail.
